The way we operate

MBS Accounting is a mobile based public accounting practice.  We have merchant credit facilites so our services can be paid for by cash, credit card or fee from refund.  An extra charge of $22 applies to fee from refund due to the extra paperwork.  More than one tax consultation fee can be paid from a nominated refund meaning that for a couple the fee from refund works out to be $11 each.

Its proprietor Matt Slater does not believe in paying for an expensive office to massage his ego and sees no need for one as the paperless office is finally starting to become a reality. He believes that clients value being able to contact him direct on his mobile and that a better service is provided by being able to service clients from their own premises or via email, mobile phone and video conferencing.

Matt Slater carries a laptop with mobile broadband access to the Internet and to the ATO portal so if he is out and about he can answer client queries in a timely manner. The laptop has loaded on it the common MYOB software packages so that he can work on the clients accounting/taxation issues without tieing up the clients computer.
